Default Check Out My Bonder Build

This is my build i use as a bonder, and I am wondering if there si any other skills i should switch in or take out etc... Based on other builds i've looked at and experience in the game this is what i came up with (and please feel free to criticize.)
Lvl 20: Mo/Me, both attrib quests done.

Inspiration: 8
Protection: 14 (11+3)
Divine Favor: 15 (11+4)

1.Remove Hex-can be changed
2.Mend Condition
3.Mantra of inscriptions
4.Signet of Devotion
5.RoF (Reversal of Fortune)-can be changed
6.Blessed Signet
7.Life Barrier {E}
8.Balthazar's Spirit-can be changed

As far as armor goes I'm from Prophecies and have a 55 set of tattoos, but didint feel like buying another set, so i bought the Max armor fomr Kaiening Center that gives + health.
And for weapons i use Gordac's Holy Staff Green. B/c I didnt feel like having to get a good one hander, and offhand. Plus i liek the 15 energy and ench last 20% longer fomr Gordac's.

Thats pretty much it, I should probly put Life Bond in somewhere, cuz i know it helps out also.
-I dont have either Monk attribute maxxed cuz DF is at just enough (24) to easily maintain 8 enchantments
- The thing most of you arent gonna like is Sig of Dev. and Remove Hex. But I like to use Sig of Dev. to heal w/o mana and i can easily spam it with the Mantra on. I Spam Mend condition and Remove Hex as much as i can becasue i like to, and i like all the party members to just have enchantments on (or so i try.)
-Normally the heal monk can take care of the party fine, and i can be fine w/o mantra on, but it makes it easier to use energy especially if i want to load on about 10 enchantments +
-I used to use Divine Boon but found it took out my energy too much, and that I was becoming a heal monk with it on. I use the build for lots of things and it seems to work (at least in PvE.) Although im not sure exactly how to use it in SF and how do i keep myself at full health with several Life Bonds on.

Thats all, and if anyone has ideas of skills to get rid of and new skills to add in id appreciate it. Its also a decent build u can try if u want.

Well, you MUST have Life Bond (or at least, Essence Bond?) for this to be effective. Blessed Signet is also a good idea. Keep Balth's Spirit. I'm sure everyone else well get into the other specifics. There are threads and guides out there, even the wiki, has good guidelines for effective bonding.

There are little things that takes some practice and experience, to find what works best in whatever situation or zone.

I wouldnt go with two sup runes, but thats just my personal preference. I always keep my sup runes in my headgear. I just switch my headgear to my prot one to cast bonds, then switch back to my divine one to maintain them.

With that high if inspiration maybe consider inspired hex, slightly longer recharge, but it has some added energy management. If your using life barrier there is no point in even having balthazars spirit, since with barrier no damage is redirected to you. The damage is simply reduced. I generally use life bond since it will trigger balts spirit, that way you have more energy to play around with.

You may want to give aegis a shot on the bar somewhere. I have often found myself with more than enough energy.

As for sig of devotion, theres nothing wrong with that. If you decide to switch to life bond then it could be used for healing the small amout of dmg you take through the bonds.

Not sure where you intended on bonding, but since you included balz spirit then you are going to want Life Bond.

(Boon Bonder Build -- PvE recommended only)

Balz
Life Bond
Life Barrier
Blessed Signet
Mantra of Inscriptions (optional, once again depends what you will be doing)
RoF
Mend Ailment (or condition)
Divine Boon

Cast Boon and Balz on yourself, cast Life Bond and Barrier on whomever you are going to bond. Use Mantra of Inscriptions & Blessed Signet to maintain energy during non-battle. When in battle Life Bond plus Balz will supply you with adequate amounts of energy. Heal ppl with RoF and Mend Ailment.

If you are doing a Bonder to tank relation (as in you are not bonding the entire party) you might want to drop Mantra of Inscriptions and add a cover bond like Gaurdian. There are of course all kinds of variations of this build.

Hope this helps

Well, considering most of Cantha is 8 man team and it's hard to maintain more than 10 or so enchantments at a time, I dropped Life Barrier for Blessed Light. Otherwise, I'd get up 7 Life Bonds, 1 Balthazar's Spirit, and only 2 Life Barrier. I feel the Blessed Light offers more than the 2 Life Barriers.

1) Reversal of Fortune - emergency heal
2) Blessed Light - heal, remove condition, remove hex - even on self
3) Signet of Devotion - main heal
4) Blessed Signet - main energy
5) Mantra of Inscriptions - recharge those signets faster
6) Life Bond - really only useful with many enemy warrior/rangers, less useful against casters
7) Balthazar's Spirit - works great with Life Bond
8) Rebirth/Rez - because everyone expects a monk to rez in PvE

In certain situations, I chose Life Barrier over Life Bond when I know there will be a lot of damage, but mostly from casters instead of from warriors/rangers. However, without Life Bond+Balthazar's Spirit, energy is going to be harder to come by. Essence Bond on the tank to gain energy for you might help you out some here although I've done fine even without it.

1) Reversal of Fortune - emergency heal
2) Mend Ailment/Mend Condition - condition removal (lots of conditions in Cantha)
3) Signet of Devotion - free heal
4) Blessed Signet - main energy
5) Mantra of Inscriptions - recharge those signets faster
6) Life Barrier - prevent around 50% of ALL damage
7) Essence Bond - throw it on the tank
8) Rebirth/Rez - again, you never know who will or won't bring a rez

Looking at your build, Balthazar's Spirit is bad without Life Bond. Try Essence Bond on the tank instead. If you want a hex remover, use Inspired Hex instead to gain some energy while removing the hex (don't cast the hex you stole). Also, as I mentioned, I like to bring a rez hoping I'll never need it. If I do use it, the team has to wait for me to reapply all bonds.
